FUNTASTIC KIDVENTURES

(Grades K to 6)

This camp combines both of our past camps into one unique offering.  These are weeklong, full-day camps presented as a childcare alternative that is specifically designed for the target grades of K-(going into Grade 1) up to Grade 6 and will be held at the Youth Centre Small Hall.  Camp will run from 7:45am-5:15pm to accommodate working parents.

These Camps will be designed around a specific Theme every week in which we will explore the creative side of every child through arts & crafts, drama and dance.  Then tap into their active side with a world of good-natured backyard play, a bit of outdoor adventure, and traditional/non-traditional sports, where participation, fitness & fun is stressed first & foremost.

There will also be a variety of unique full-day trips on Wednesdays and various other outtings aoround our region that will be organized to compliment the varied themes and to enhance the camp experience for the children.

PLEASE NOTE:
NEW BOOSTER SEAT RULE- The new regulations stipulate that all children under the age of nine must be secured in a booster seat until they reach at least 36 kilograms (79lbs) in weight or 145 centimetres (57 inches) in height. Research indicates that the use of an appropriate child passenger restraint reduces the risk of serious injury by 40 to 60 percent in the event of a collision.
If you child falls under this catergory, parents will be responsible for providing seats for any outtings that require transportation.
