Riverview Public Library
to Close until June 2009
The Town of Riverview will begin construction of a new town hall and library in September. As a consequence, the Riverview Public Library will be closed beginning on Friday, September 19th at 5:00 pm. The library is expected to reopen in its new facility in June 2009. The new library will have almost three times the present space, and it will offer private study rooms, an activity room, more Internet stations, a natural lighted, spacious reading and study area, and a larger collection.
Until September 19th, the Riverview Public Library will be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30-5 and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-8:30.
We are sorry for any inconvenience that this closure may cause. We encourage people to use their closest public library during the closure. Nearby public library locations include Moncton, Salisbury, Hillsborough and Dieppe. All books and other library materials borrowed from the Riverview Public Library may be returned to any other public library in the province after September 19. For a full listing of public libraries in New Brunswick, visit www.gnb.ca/publiclibraries.
We look forward to serving you in new, expanded facilities in 2009.
