"TRY IT" Camps
(For Ages 6-11years)
These weeklong activity camps are specifically designed for the target age groups of 6-11yrs
and will be held at the Recreation Complex area.
Camps will run from 7:45am-5:15pm.
A variety of different unconventional sports, recreational, art & cultural activities will be featured to provide children with an opportunity to learn a new activity in a safe, fun, non-competitive environment. No skill is required for any of the activities & kids are guaranteed to have fun! The emphasis in the camps is to have fun, meet other children, and become physically active while learning a variety of new skills & games.
The camp may include various day trip opportunities on Tuesdays around the local community and will participate in Friday Special Events.
Participants may register as follows:

PLEASE NOTE:
NEW BOOSTER SEAT RULE- The new regulations stipulate that all children under the age of nine must be secured in a booster seat until they reach at least 36 kilograms (79lbs) in weight or 145 centimetres
(57 inches) in height. Research indicates that the use of an appropriate child passenger restraint reduces the risk of serious injury
by 40 to 60 percent in the event of a collision.
If you child falls under this catergory, parents will be responsible for providing seats for any outtings that require transportation.
