WATER FITNESS

Water Fitness is a fun form of exercise that uses the resistance of the water to strengthen the body and can accommodate any fitness level, beginner to advanced. Variable resistance through a full range of motion makes water exercise an excellent form of resistance training.  Strength & muscle endurance can be achieved concurrently with cardiovascular endurance.  It’s an efficient way to exercise and it’s FUN!  Cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, body composition, and flexibility can all be improved.  Water Fitness is great exercise for any age, any fitness level, and any body size as well as excellent for most pregnant women.  Non-swimmers are welcome; most classes are done in the shallow end with your head always above water. Deepwater Aquacize allows the body to be “suspended” and removes impact from the workout.
